Kumar Dhanapal kallol. Age 40 years, R/o Kagwad Tq:Athani. Dist: Belgaum was booked in Kagwad Police Station under N.D.P.S.Act case in 1993 for selling Ganza .For last few months he was not doing any job still he was spending money heavily because of his past history & present doubtful activities Kagwad Police got doubt and started to watch his movement. Before one week Police got information that he had gon to Andhra Pradesh to bring Ganza. Kagwad Police set the information and accordings to information received sent the secreate report to Hon’ble S.P.Belgaum & A.S.P.Chikkodi. In the guidance of A.S.P. Chikkodi a team lead by CPI Athani intercepted a TATA Sumo No. KA-22/M-4629 which was transporting Ganza from Bidar to Puna of Maharastra via Kagwad at Chennamma circle Kagwad & seized 108 Kg Ganza worth Rs. 2,16,000 /- and a TATA Sumo worth Rs. 2 Lakhs. Accused are
1. Ramrao S/o Jairaj Pawar. Age 22 years, At: Siddahangaraga Tq: Narayan Khed. Dist: Medhak. State: Andra Pradesh & Karnataka Border Area.
2. Vehicle driwer Allarakha S/o Dastagir Mulla. Age 21 years, At: Madhabavi. Dist: Bijapur.
3. Kumar Dhanapal Kallol. Age 40 years, At: Kagwad. Tq:Athani. Dist: Belgaum.
In this regard a case has been registered in Kagwad Police Station.
In this Operation C.P.I. N.V.Bharamani, P.S.I. Kagwad A.D.Kabburi, CHC P.B.Hiremath & CPC S.D.Gadad, M.M.Goni, A.B.Terdal, B.B.Sollapure, H.Y.Sarikar, Y.Y.Bhoj, A.P.Aralikatti, Participted. CPC Shivabasu Gadad, M.M.Goni, B.B.Sollapure played Spl role in it. This operation was conducted in presence of Gazzetted officer Shri Sharanbasappa Kotyappagol, Tahasildar Athani.
