• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Chikodi Police Station on 22/03/08 at 1315 hrs. On Chikodi town limits near Banantikodi hill on Chikodi Jodkurali road. Unknown accused driver of Tractor No. KA-23-T-4117 and without registration numbered two trailers had drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed to pedestrian Saifali @ Ibrahim Mulla aged 14 years of Ambedkar nagar Chikodi. Cause pedestrian was grievously injured & died in the spot. In this regarding a case is Registered Chikodi Police Station Crime No. 112/08

• On 21/03/2008 at about 1920 hrs Complainant Shri. Rajeev. A. PSI (L&O) Nippani Town has raid in Nippani town limits. The following persons are arrested.
  1) Gourish Narayan Shetti of Nippani
  2) Jayasheel Narayan Shetti of Nippani.
  Below mentioned property were seized during the raid
  1) Magic Whisky 72 bottles of 180 ML. W. Rs. 2288.16/-
  2) Cahs W. Rs. 100/-
  Total W. Rs. 2388.16/-
