On 05/02/2008 at about 1945 hrs Complainant Shri. R.B Talwar PSI (CB) Chikodi P.S has raid in Kabbur village limits in the direction of ASP Chikodi.

On 05/02/2008 at about 1645 hrs Accused 1) Guruling Laxman Kokate aged 35 years of Kabbur, 2) Beerappa Mayappa Ghevari aged 40 years of Kabbur were found in kabbur village limits at the land of accused Guruling Kokate, while they were cutting sandalwood tree illegally without having any license, for the purpose of sale. And accused No. 3) Sidappa Ramappa Patil of Kabbur had absconded during the raid.

Below mentioned property and instruments were seized during the raid
1) 34 kg, 300 gms weighted sandalwood peaces w/rs 13,720/-
2) Bajaj Caliber Motor cycle No. MH-09-E-3923 w/rs 25,000/-
3) Iron blade (Karagasa) one w/rs 50
4) Iron axe one w/rs 20
5) Iron hole maker (girmit) one w/rs 10

Regarding this, the Case has been registered in Chikodi P.S.Cr.No. 55/08,
