Unknown accused murdered complainants son five-year-old age Darshan s/o Chandrakant B. Patil. Of Nandagoan Tq: Athani. Strangulation on his neck followed by throwing stone on his head to avoid evidence. The motive seems to be not known. In this connection a case is registered in Athani Police station Crime No 42/08.

Road Accidents (Fatal): 01
A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kagawad Police Station on 04/02/08 at 2100 Hrs in between 05/02/08 at 0830 hrs in Lokur village limits, unknowns vehicle dashed to one woman, age about 70 to 75 years name and address not known. In between Shedbal to Lokur Road made accident and women was spot death. A vehicle driver was goes out from the spot without intimate the Police. In this regarding a case is Registered Kagwad Police Station Crime No. 20/08.

Unknown women aged about 30 to 35 years died by falling in Krishna River and committed suicide about a week back. Her body floated seen in Krishna River limits of Awarkhod village. In this connection a case is registered in Athani Police station U D No 9/08.
