• One theft case has been reported in Athani PS on 02/02/2008 at about 2015 Hrs. In the Anantpur circle Athani town limits accused 1) Ishwar Shankar Mane 2) Shrikank Shankar Mane both of Rawalgundewadi Tq: Jatt Dist: Sangali (Maharashtra) are stolen 7 Kgs Sandal wood (22 pieces) near about Rs. 14000/- carrying on black motor cycle withot lience and permit. Ishwar Shankar Mane was arrested and Shrikank Shankar Mane was obsconding with his motor cycle.

A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Chikodi Police Station. On 02/02/2008 at 1900 hrs Shri. Gajanan Appasab Mane of Chinchali, Tal: Raibag has lodged his written complaint in Chikodi P.S as below. On 02/02/2008 accused person drove his Tractor No. CNL-4005 in a rash and negligent manner dashed to TATA ACE vehicle caused grievous injuries to Ashok Nimbaragi and Spot death of Ramu Maruti Naik 22 years and Mayappa Kareppa Gujnatti 19 years both are of Chinchali Regarding this, the Case has been registered in Chikodi P.S.Cr.No. 51/08, u/s 279, 304(A) 338 IPC & 134, 187 M. V. Act
